Vintage Woodsware Tsing Bowl Set of 3: Blue Geisha Girl Soup Bowls, England

Made around 1918, this set of 3 blue soup bowls have a pattern that was registered with the number 662903. All of these blue and white bowls are colorful and beautifully designed. This set of 3 vintage blue geisha girl soup bowls from England in the Tsing pattern and with the Woods Ware stamp on the back. There is a blue border with various objects and the patterning spills over into the center of the bowl.

The overall decoration includes oriental flora in pots, geisha girls, bonsai planters and a pretty decorative blue border along the raised edge of all these blue geisha girls soup bowls. Made in England by Woods Ware, Enoch and Ralph, the colors and the detailing is what makes these antique blue transferware soup bowls from England stand out.

These blue and white Tsing soup bowls with a 1" wide rim have pretty blue dots and oriental flora in various shapes and with a white background. These floating vignettes of flowers decorate the rim area. On the left hand side of the plate (9'oclock position if this was a clock face), we see a geisha girl in traditional garments and three decorative hair pieces sticking out of her hair. The long garments has various patterning. On the top right (2 o'clock) side we see another geisha girl with an elaborately decorated garment and a decorated planter with some type of oriental flora. Lots to look at and very pretty. None of the plates have chips or cracks. There are some visual signs of wear on the bottom, but nothing that would prevent you from using them. Packed and ready to ship in 1-2 days.
