Vintage La Rochere French Goblets: Teardrop Patterned Glass, Set of 2

In 1999, La Rochère decided to relaunch this ‘Le Lyonnais’ cup. During the Renaissance, the city of Lyon was under the Italian artistic influence, and gave rise, in objects from everyday life, to a graceful interpretation of the Florentine Renaissance.

This set of two vintage La Rochere goblets are stunning and reflect light beautifully! There is a tear-drop shaped patterning and one can feel the smooth indentations. Each glass offers a modern take on a 19th-century design inspired by the Florentine Renaissance. Interlacing pattern, dramatic color and vintage-inspired—we’d say these glasses have a certain je ne sais quoi. It is my belief that these are the original 19th century shape that they later in 1999 based this on. On the bottom of these glasses is a stamped signature that clearly states "Clairet France".

Both of these clear glass water goblets are in perfect condition, with no chips or cracks. There is also a stunning round ball in the lower portion of the stem, also with teardrop shaped decoration on all sides of it. Absolutely gorgeous glasses from France, and they both can be securely packed and ready to ship in 1-2 days.

Some items will be wrapped with bubble wrap and shipped in a small box, in a box - it just depends on how to best pack it up safely.

No effort is spared to ensure your fabulous item arrives in one piece. I always use small or large bubble wrap and may even fashion a cardboard protector around the items. Everything is packed with either air bubble packets and/or heavy packing paper, to ensure that the items you order do not actually touch the sides of the box.
