Some History on these glasses:
The famous collection Golden Zuzana was born in 1956. The first samples of this unusual glass products supplied the former Czechoslovakia commercial enterprises in dozens of countries around the world, from the United States to Japan. Set of seven glasses for different types of liquor was named after the wife of the first foreign customer from Canada. Cups of different sizes and color modulation was associated only one registration feature by which the three gold balls, placed on the stem of the glass. It is this symbol evoked in those days many controversies, not only in glass specialists, but especially among ordinary people. Everyone does wondered how glassmakers are inserted into the cup golden bullets. Since Staník has patented his discovery, so it remained a mystery for long time.

However, the then national patent authorities in 1971, the author collected and production of gold Zuzana spilled over into other glass factories in the area. People are so aware that bullets were not inserted into the stalks, but were formed from the original legs, using special pliers.

Golden Zuzana from the start was successful in the world. Ball on the leg was originally not gold. Later he began to paint. The first order was to America, then Canada, and gradually came to a set of orders from around the world. This export was unusual in time of socialism. Gold Zuzana is now NO longer produced however, the price increases in collectors circles.
