Vintage Johnson Brothers Dream Town Plate & Bowl Set: English Transferware

This 3 piece set includes 1 vintage Johnson Brothers English transferware serving bowl and 2 dinner plates, all in the Dream Town pattern. The soft blue color and wonderful idyllic English countryside and small town vignettes are what makes vintage Johnson Brothers so popular. This particular Dream Town pattern depicts an English town with thatched roofs and tall tress. In the foreground are poplar trees that frame the village.

Various items are hand painted blue, such as the evergreens, trees, field and leaves of the trees. The details and soft blue color and red chimneys speak to an easier time when the world moved at a slower pace. The vintage English transferware serving bowl is a genuine hand engraving; all decoration under the glaze; detergent & acid resisting colour; pat pending. The bowl has a chip on the underside of the lip and is very hard to see because of the patterning. The price has already been reduced. None of the plates have any damage. All can be securely packed and ready to ship in 1-2 days.

Packing & Shipping:
Trust Me - I am a Master Packer of glass and other fragile items. I take the utmost care to pack items so there is zero movement - which is why nothing has ever been broken to date. Some items will be wrapped with bubble wrap and shipped in a small box, in a box - it just depends on how to best pack it up safely.

No effort is spared to ensure your fabulous item arrives in one piece. I always use small or large bubble wrap and may even fashion a cardboard protector around the items. Everything is packed with either air bubble packets and/or heavy packing paper, to ensure that the items you order do not actually touch the sides of the box.
