Vintage Florentine Jewelry Box: Hand Painted Italian Gilt Wood Trinket

Rare Italian gilt jewelry boxes like this beauty are hand carved/decorated and can be used to hold your treasures. This decorative Florentine wooden trinket box has a gorgeous picture of two women and one man lounging in an idyllic wooden location.

There is a Romanesque church ruin in the background and emerald green trees. The costumed figures are wearing stunning satin dresses and the man is dressed up as well in red velvet garments. The sides of this Italian gilt gold leaf vintage wooden box has a decorative band of scrolls and leaves along all of the sides. These red ovals are surrounded by a decorative shape and a wonderful band of dots and scallops.
There is a stamp on the back of this Florentine jewelry box which is covered with gold leaf and 4 red oval decorations at each of the corners. There is only minimal signs of wear and can be securely packed and ready to ship in 1-2 days.

No effort is spared to ensure your fabulous item arrives in one piece. I always use small or large bubble wrap and may even fashion a cardboard protector around the items. Everything is packed with either air bubble packets and/or heavy packing paper, to ensure that the items you order do not actually touch the sides of the box.
