Rare Northwood Grape & Cable Plate: Iridized Green Stippled Sawtooth Edge

This antique green and gold antique Northwood plate is rare and extremely pretty! There is the wonderful sawtooth edge and two lines that run parallel along the inner rim that separates the stippled area in the center. Inside these lines are the stippled areas with the rounded clusters of grapes, and a cable where everything hangs. The significant feature is that when you look in the center area, there are tendrils that extend into the center area. These tendrils are what makes it a variant, thus so collectible.

When the plate is held up against the light, like in some of the pictures, you really see the green color, you also see the collar base underneath. The plate is gorgeous and the gold iridized effect reflects light so beautifully. The clusters of grapes are almost 3D in some light, and the rounded raised area glisten. The back is ribbed and the stippling is a way of really making this plate glisten and glitter.

There are no chips or cracks, and it can be securely packed and ready to ship in 1-2 days. There are only slight signs of wear/scratches along the edges, but other than that, the plate will definitely be a wonderful addition to your own collection.

Some items will be wrapped with bubble wrap and shipped in a small box, in a box - it just depends on how to best pack it up safely.

No effort is spared to ensure your fabulous item arrives in one piece. I always use small or large bubble wrap and may even fashion a cardboard protector around the items. Everything is packed with either air bubble packets and/or heavy packing paper, to ensure that the items you order do not actually touch the sides of the box.
