Handmade Smokey Black Wine Glasses - Mid Century Modern Set of 2

This is such a beautiful, unique and completely handmade smokey black wine glass set of 2 that have a real retro feel about them. What's so great about these smoked black wine glasses is that around the lower half of the bowl, there has been a very fine layer of glass that has been applied. This area has been added onto the outer glass and forms a layer and increases the width of the glass slightly. This overlay of glass onto the bowl really adds an element of uniqueness and is what makes them so special!

There is definitely something that makes them very Mid Century Modern as well. The clear glass stems are straight and slightly tapered near the bottom and the two tone effect of the smokey glass bowl really gives these glasses a masculine appeal. Additionally, they are fairly heavy in the hand as well - so probably durable enough to use oftern. Visible bubbles throughout the glass are a testament to their hand crafted nature. One of a kind glasses that are perfect for sipping your favorite wine or cocktail. Cheer and enjoy! (Do not put into the dishwasher - it will affect the glass).

Trust Me - I am a Master Packer of glass and other fragile items. I take the utmost care to pack items so there is zero movement - which is why nothing has ever been broken to date. Some items will be wrapped with bubble wrap and shipped in a small box, in a box - it just depends on how to best pack it up safely.

No effort is spared to ensure your fabulous item arrives in one piece. I always use small or large bubble wrap and may even fashion a cardboard protector around the items. Everything is packed with either air bubble packets and/or heavy packing paper, to ensure that the items you order do not actually touch the sides of the box.
