Hand Blown Teal Glass Vase: Art Glass Pitcher with Pontil Mark

The outstanding color and shape of this very pretty vase with applied handle can not be understated. The closest I can describe the color would be a deep rich dark blue teal that's luminescent and seems to have a special 'glow' about it! I have done my best to show it it different lighting to reveal how it changes color.

This is a completely handblown piece which we can verify by the rough pontil mark. A pontil mark or punt mark is the scar where the pontil, punty or punt was broken from a work of blown glass. The presence of such a scar indicates that this vase was blown freehand.

The large round area has been twisted and this twist can be seen throughout the glass. There are visible bubbles and slight imperfections, which is a testament to its handblown nature and is not considered flaws - they are part of the hand that made this wonderful piece in an art blowing facility. There is a spout and applied handle and a secondary round area above the larger bowl underneath. Stunning for sure!
There are no chips or cracks and it can be securely packaged and ready to ship in 1-2 days.

Some items will be wrapped with bubble wrap and shipped in a small box, in a box - it just depends on how to best pack it up safely.

No effort is spared to ensure your fabulous item arrives in one piece. I always use small or large bubble wrap and may even fashion a cardboard protector around the items. Everything is packed with either air bubble packets and/or heavy packing paper, to ensure that the items you order do not actually touch the sides of the box.
